Pastor Appreciation Lunch
On Sunday November 30, we had a fellowship meal in honor of Rev. Frank Sledge and Pastor Appreciation Month. What a great time of fellowship we had. We are so Blessed to have Rev. Frank Sledge as our Intentional Interim Pastor.

Operation Christmas Child
Each year here at FBC we collect shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Join millions of others all across the U.S in sharing Good News and Great Jou with
children all over the world--and invite your friends! Operation Christmas Child collects shoeboxes filled with school supplies, hygiene ites, fun toys, and notes of encouragement. They are delievered
to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way. We have choices of what age group we choose; boys or girls for ages 2-4; 5-9; or 10-14. If you have never had a
chance to fill a box you sure have missed a blessing. If you ae interested in helping us with this please contact Kathleen Warren or Monica Johnson at FBC. In 2014 we had over 75 boxes, and
2015 we have over 50 boxes. Our goal for 2016 is 75 boxes.
He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given. Proverbs 19:17
This is for the Camp @ Moreland and it is a full time camp for homeless men. It is a well organized and the men are very respectful. All of the items that we will collect will be delivered on Thanksgiving weekend. The deadline is Wednesday November 23rd.We are collecting used warm clothing, blankets and camping gear. Also, easy to open food items such as crackers, peanut butter, soup, canned meat, beanie Winnie's, and foil packages of tuna, just to name a few items. Anything you don't need a can opener or refrigeration to keep and use. A postive thing that has come out of this is that one of these men have found a Church, a job, and expected to be moving into a house soon. We serve an Awesome God!
If you are interested in helping out with this project please contact Kevin Roan or Lataine Smith at FBC.
